Psyche, oh what a horrible fucking name. That thought had run through her head for about three years now, making her wonder why the fuck the gods and titans and all of those types of people had such ... ridiculous names. Mythology, she'd never understand it. Something else she would never understand was why she ended up being a reincarnation of this chick, why she was reincarnated as the goddess of soul. Before she had found out about this shit, she had actually been nice, but after hearing that the whole nice girl scheme had gone down the shitter. Being told that you were reincarnated as a goddess -- not even a born goddess at that -- sorta did that to some people. She couldn't have gotten one of the cooler goddesses like ... Hera or some shit like that, but nooo, she had to go get Psyche, the chick that Aphrodite was jealous of and sent her son Eros after. Oh, she had read up on that shit, and it was apparently fucking legit. Vera didn't need to know her past to know that she had one screwed up goddess inside her. The nightmares were hard to explain, but when she had them, they hit her hard and she'd end up in the same place every single time. The bar was near her apartment, so she tended to wander there with her fake I.D. in hand and got herself drunk, even if half the things she would down would disgust her and make her want to barf at the first taste. The thought of remembering those nightmares scared the shit out of her, scared her so fucking bad that she would get herself wasted. It was a poor way to deal with things she wanted to avoid, but it was the only way she knew how to get them out of her head. By the time the bartender was cutting her off, Vera was allowing herself to shamelessly flirt with some man that had grey eyes and shaggy brown hair, a silver wedding band loosely fitted on his finger. But the truth was, she didn't give a fuck. Blowing her hair out of her face messily and offering the man a drunken grin before sliding off her bar stool, she did her best to wander towards the door, leaving the guy behind. Mm ... if he would follow her it'd work out, but so far, that didn't seem to be happening. Digging her keys out of her pocket, she hiccuped slightly, eyes closing at the slight pain in her ribcage from the action. Driving was a bad idea, she could already realize that. Wrinkling her nose, she crossed the street, disregarding the slow traffic that was going across the two-way street. The park wasn't horribly far ... maybe if she paced herself well enough she'd manage to make it there without getting too distracted. Humming to herself with a drunken edge, she worked her shoes off as she walked, slinging the Converse over her shoulder as she walked in her now sock-clad feet. It was almost balmy outside, but she didn't bother to complain due to the fact that she had a warm feeling in her stomach. Almost twenty minutes after leaving the bar, Vera tossed her shoes down onto the grass next to a tree, a lazy grin spread across her lips as she watched a stranger that she had invited on her way here. He didn't seem like he'd do anything ... but at this point, what the fuck did she care? Giggling to herself slightly, she worked herself up into the tree, pulling her legs up and singing a random song in a childish tone, Vera flashed the man a smile, watching him start to reach up to touch her leg before he backed off, offering her a fake smile and saying goodbye. Talk about a fucking party pooper. Scowling, the blonde flipped his figure off as he walked away, no doubt looking for some ... redhead or a brunette. Pouting to herself, Vera hardly tried to keep herself up as she started to slide out of the tree, her hand grabbing a branch last moment and laughing slightly. Oh god, bless whoever ran into her. TAGGED FOR EVE ♥ - OUTFIT - STATUS: DRUNK OUTTA HER FLIPPING MIND.really shitty post, told you it would be >.< hope it's okay for you though.

stone hadn;t really understood for majority of his life why he was kronos. why he was reincarnated as him. kronos ahd been king of the titans. king. that meant power, and being on top, and making the rules, and owning land and all that jazz. like honestly, as a kid, how would that add up at all. sure when he was younger, about twelve to forteen years old, he was bullied. what king of titans was bullied? obviously something had gone wrong with him, he wasn't kronos. they'd just mixed him up with some other kid. he was some other reincarnation. but all the other titles would be pretty much gay compared to king of titans. seriously. how almighty would you feel with that title? of course, by the time he got where he was today, everything made sense with the kronos thing. he was a leader. he'd grown out of that whole bullied thing. sure, around that time he was being raped by his uncle. but some random burst of courage made him tell his parents, and everything went god from then on. he grew confident, grew a caring personality and took charge basically of his life. as for the king thing, it was a little ironic. kings owned lands in myths. stone was the heir to a property business. so then he figured he was meant to be this reincarnation of kronos. which was just plain awesome. just saying, aphrodite was the goddess of love and was meant to be beautiful and shizza. so for her to be jealous of psyche meant that psyche was pretty damn hot. and there would be no disagreeing that the reincarnation of psyche was hot too.
stone had made his way to his favourite bar tonight with a couple of the guys, as there was a football match on. what better way for male quality time than the bar with a couple pints and a football match? no better way, thats what. the guys sat at the table nearest to the screen and watched. sure there was music blaring around them, and young people getting so drunk they probably couldn't even see, but a group of five guys, five beers and a television was all they needed. they just drowned out the rest. the match ended, but the boys didn't leave yet. they started discussing and pointing out all the hot girls in the bar. stone personally wasn't into that. he didn't like to refer to a girl as 'hot' or 'smokin'' they deserved more respect than that. obviously, he was a gentleman. his attention turned to what their attention was on when they started howling and whistling, a reaction that rarely came around. he followed their gaze to who apparently was amazig, according to their reaction. but even stone couldn't help but think of the word 'sexy' when he saw the blonde. okay, so maybe slut came to mind after, considering how she was acting, flirting about and being drunk off her face. but stone wouldn't deny the fact she was gorgeous. he literally wanted to facepalm when she started flirting with a married man. poor drun girl, he had to feel sorry for her getting to this stage.
the girl was a stranger though, so stone and his mates left the bar, basically sober too. no point getting absolutely hammered. well not to him anyway. he liked to remember what he did the next morning. he wasn't the biggest fan of doing things he'd regret, or doing things that we wouldn't do if he was sober. so he was basically sober most of the time, apart from at parties or something though, then he didn't mind getting drunk. his friends all went off towards some club, and already had said goodbye to stone. they knew that wasn't his scene at all, and he'd know how to get home, so they just went ahead. not that stine even cared. he didn't feel left out. but he wasn't ready to go home yet to his apartment, so he decided on the park. a nice midight stroll would do him some good. plus he liked being alone on his thoughts, it was a lot easier to think about everything when you were alone and it was dark and everything was quiet. but o, of course not. it couldn't just go peacefully. something had to disrupt the quiet. he sighed as he seen the cute blonde from the bar. she was a little too dunk to b getting up a tree.
she was with some strange guy, obviously one she didn't know. he hadn't been at the bar, so she could've brought him along on the way here. or maybe it was the other way around... that wouldn't be good at all. he sat on a bench and crossed her arms over his broad chest and watched he scenario. he'd intervene if he felt the need, but only if it looked like the guy would try anything on her. he sighed again, as he watched her wobble in the tree. not safe at all, darling. he felt a wave of relief wash over him as the man left, obviously with no intention of staying with her. but what a serious wankstain for leaving a dunk girl up a tree. idiot. stone got up from his seat on he bench and strolled over to her tree, where she sat quite aloof and obviously very drunk. ”you alright up there darling?” he called up from below the branch she was on. he knew he'd have to get her home, or somewhere safe. ”why don't you come down and i'll help you, yeah?” his voice was calm, but still assertive. he wasn't really asking a question, he was just telling her to come down in a nice way. and if she didn't come down, he'd be going up.

A drowsy feeling clouded Vera's mind as she swung her legs slightly, closing her eyes and leaninging agains the tree's trunk to keep herself sitting straight up. Knowing her, she'd do pretty well up in the tree, but due to the fact that she was way more drunk than one should ever attempt, the chances of her not being okay rose rapidly. Pushing a hand through her hair, she whined slightly when she ran into a knot, her nose wrinkling and her mind clearing for a mere second to allow the thought that her hair probably looked like shit right about now to pass. She almost started to climb out of the tree, thinking that running home and going to be might be a good idea ... if she could fall asleep, that was. But she was promptly stopped when another guy came up to her, one that wasn't as wirey looking as the last one, but still a stranger nevertheless. But ... despite the fact that this one didn't look as creepy as the last, Vera got the feeling that she shouldn't trust him anyways. Biting down on her lip, she eyed him carefully, unable to form a complete thought but trying anyways. ”You alright up there darling?” Snorting back a giggle, Vera shook her head to herself; was he southern or some shit like that? Who the hell said darling anymore? Pouting, she pulled her legs closer to her body, blue eyes still solely focused on his face. He was handsome, she could see that much. She'd do him if she had the chance. Grinning at the thought, she closed her eyes before dropping her hand from her hair. God, she hoped he'd leave her alone if she just ... ignored him. Pouting again, she opened her eyes as he started to talk again. ”Why don't you come down and I'll help you, yeah?”Oh don't make her laugh. Flashing him a sarcastic smile, Vera shifted to stand up, carefully grabbing onto another branch as she did so, biting down on her lip as she wobbled slightly before moving to climb higher. " 'm good, 'hanks though." Hiccuping slightly, the blonde wrinkled her nose again, swallowing down the disgusted feeling that was starting to come from all the alcohol she had downed. Ugh, she'd defiantly have a hangover in the morning. Finding another suitable branch to sit on, she plopped down, making sure she had no change of falling off if she leaned too far to one side. "You're pretty, jus' so y'know." Pointing a finger down at him, she hiccuped again before rubbing her face, her body swaying to the side slightly before she swung her feet carefully. Slowly, her giddy drunkenness was turning into a headache, but she covered the feeling with that pleasant little cloud that resided in her brain. Maybe she'd spend the night here in the park, it seemed like a cozy place, right here in the tree ... Frowning, she glanced down again, slightly annoyed to see the stranger still down there. Jutting out her lower lip in a pout, a childish expression fell upon her face. "Go awayyy."

stone bit his lip as he seen her swing her legs while sitting on the branch. she's gonna fall, she's gonna fall... he mentally told himself over and over again. as if it wasn't bad enough to go try help a completely wasted girl. if this completely wasted girl decided she was going to go and fall out of a tree, he was going to have a much bigger and worse scenario on his hands. he quickened his pace towards her, although he looked casual doing so as he dug in his hands into the front pockets of his jeans. it was dark out obviously, but the dim light of the moon was more than enough to see around. the closer he got to this girl, the prettier she looked. her long blonde hair, her obviously blue and quite frankly, he liked her style. he stood watching her for a moment, fixing his beanie his hat. ”come down, you'll hurt yourself up there!” he called up to her, concerned. you might be more convinced that he was actually concerned if it wasn't for the fact he looked so damn cool and collected and casual. he was concerned, honestly, but he wasn't exactly showing it as he stood there at the base of the tree, hands shoved in his pockets, rocking back and forward on his feet and looking up at vera with the single-handedly most innocent expression you'd ever see on a twenty-one year old man. the blue eyes and two day old old rugged stubble added to the puppy look he was unintentionally giving her right now.
he sighed as he realised just asking her nicely mybe wouldn't do the rick. she was drunks perhaps; but she still had a little common sense left; don't trust a stranger. but maybe her intuition was off, as anyone could see that stone only had good intentions of trying to help her. why oh why did she have to make this harder than it needed to be? oh well, his night wasn't going to be boring, he could guarantee himself that anyway. he puffed a little, seeing her try not to giggle at him. probably at his vocabulary. he certainly wasn't southern. he was born and raised in roseneath. he was ayoung gentleman, and he used names like 'darling' for women it was just how he worked. but here she was, stiffling a laugh at him. it didn't necessarily hurt his feelings. actually, it didn't at all. but it was just alittle rude in his opinion. he could've been stiffling laughs at how drunk she was, how stupid she looked sitting in that tree with no one for no apparent reason with no shoes on and how ridiculously childish she looked as she continously pouted. oh yeah he noticed all those thing. he should've just pointed out all of them toher, just maybe to get her pissed off enough to come down. sure maybe he'd get abuse from the blonde, but hey, at least she'd be safe right?
stone easily sensed the sarcasm in her smiled. his brows creased with impatience. why was she being so... ignorant? did she find it funny? had she no decent manners? obviously not. he sighed as she hiccoughed a thanks and decided ( oh fun ) she was going to climb to a higher branch. ”no, you're not good. i'm coming up to get you,” he told her, looking for the best way to get up to her. he had a hand gripped tightly on a branch when she pointed at him. he looked momentarily confused, but when she spoke, he had to laugh. ”thanks dear. you're quite gorgeous too,” he replied to her, smiling charmingly. maybe the way to get her down and safe was to play it like this. give her some compliments, soften her up; the works. maybe she'd take to him then. but stone was only hoping. he'd never seen this girl before in his life before this night. which reminded him. her name would be useful at a time like this. ”hey, what's your name?” he asked her, easily hoisting himself up on a branch towards her. he bit his lip as she swung her legs and her body swayed a little. ”could you just... not do that?” he said, sounding slightly frustrated. if anything happened to her, it'd be on his hands. ”it's mking me feel uneasy. he added, getting up the branch just below. he stood up on it and rested his hands on either sides of her legs. ”just... don't fall,” he sighed softly.
stone had to laugh when she told him to go away. he shook his head at her and smiled. ”nuh uh, no way. if i go, you're coming with me,” he told her softtly. ”i'm stone, by the way,” he said realising he hadn't given her his name. he pulled himself on her branch and sat close to her. he nudged her very lightly in the side. ”c'mon down, we can go get a coffee or something from starbucks. my treat!” he grinned at her, looking intently at her so she didn't fall.
