It’s 2017, a time when prejudice shouldn’t determine things like love or simply where one lives, yet laws
forbid people to be together unless they have equal lineage. Things in both worlds have changed severely,
mainly for the magical community. Some students are still oblivious, simply because their parents refuse to
put their children through that kind of pressure by explaining it all, and some even going so far as to keep the
papers out of the house. Some parents are being forced to divorce, or at least separate, due to differences in
blood status. Everything’s become a blur, and it’s hard to tell if we’re falling or flying anymore.
